“Both My Parents Were Crying Tears of Joy”
During a recent interaction with TV presenter Suma Kanakala, Sara was asked about her most euphoric day. Without hesitation, she recalled a moment shortly after Dhurandhar released, when her parents, actor Raj Arjun and Sanya Arjun, were overwhelmed with pride.
“There was a day when both my parents were crying tears of joy because of something I did. So that’s my most euphoric day ever,” Sara shared, adding that the moment meant more to her than anything else. When asked if she was referring to Dhurandhar, the young actor smiled and confirmed it.

Journey From Ponniyin Selvan to Dhurandhar
Reflecting on her career path, Sara spoke about how her journey unfolded unexpectedly. After Ponniyin Selvan, she went to boarding school and initially planned to study film and acting abroad. However, while appearing for her board exams, she signed Magic.
Though she intended to return to her original plan, the offer of Euphoria proved too tempting. “As a human, I felt this urge to be a part of a story like this,” she said. After PS2, she worked on Magic, Euphoria, and then Dhurandhar, which she signed while shooting for Euphoria.

The film, which released in theatres last month, began streaming on Netflix today (January 30). Meanwhile, Sara is gearing up for her next release, Euphoria, set to hit theatres on February 6. She has also expressed that her parents’ emotional reaction holds more value for her than awards, as it reflects her personal growth as an artist.
