
Odisha’s Net State Domestic Product (NSDP) has risen from Rs 6.99 lakh crore in 2023–24 to an estimated Rs 7.90 lakh crore in 2024–25, with growth accelerating to 13.04 per cent.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi shared the figures, citing the Economic Survey of India (2025–26), tabled in Parliament by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
Per capita NSDP in the state has reached Rs 1,68,966, indicating higher incomes and improving living standards, Majhi said. “The Economic Survey of India reaffirms the steady progress Odisha is making towards inclusive and sustainable growth,” he added.
Agriculture And Financial Inclusion In Focus
In a post on X, the Chief Minister highlights sectoral strengths and said agriculture remains central to Odisha’s development path, with the state now among the top three sunflower-producing states in the country. He also pointed to deepening financial inclusion, noting that bank deposits have climbed to Rs 5.83 lakh crore, strengthening savings and investment across the state.
The Economic Survey of India (2025–26) affirms the steady progress Odisha is making on the path of inclusive and sustainable growth.

Majhi said Odisha’s fiscal position remains strong, allowing continued investment in infrastructure, education and social welfare. He added that progress in education and poverty reduction reflects the government’s focus on inclusive development.
